Flying is amazing and fun, but learning to fly, at times, has a lot going on. The cockpit of an airplane is not always the best place to learn new skills. It’s noisy, it’s expensive, and you’re in constant motion, needing to stay ahead of the airplane.
The ImagineFlight Syllabus is based on the private pilot curriculum used at the Skyport Flight Training Laboratory and serves as an example for integrating simulator and scenario based training into your flight training program. With this syllabus, you can address new concepts and tasks in the simulator and then after your client is comfortable performing in the simulator, he/she then demonstrates with confidence in the airplane. The syllabus uses learner centered grading and incorporates FAA Airmen Certification Standards.
